Join us for Bears Big Adventure Trail—an exciting, interactive sculpture trail coming to Perth and Kinross for 10 weeks in summer 2026!
This vibrant event will boost the region’s social, cultural, and economic growth by attracting visitors to explore our stunning surroundings. At its heart, the trail raises vital funds for YMCA Tayside, supporting transformative youth work across the local area and helping young people thrive through creativity, connection, and community.
What is the trail?
Bears Big Adventure
The Bears will be placed across streets, parks, and public spaces, turning our community into a vibrant open-air gallery. Each sculpture will be uniquely designed by talented artists and sponsored by local businesses. After 10 weeks on display, the Bears will be auctioned to raise vital funds for YMCA Tayside, supporting youth work programmes that empower and uplift young people across the region.
Bruin's Story
Buy Bruin's Big Adventure.
A delightful children’s storybook about a special bear and his search for his best friend. This book is a collaborative effort between YMCA Staff and young people, a local author and illustrator, as well as a local publisher. Every effort has been made to benefit, not just local young people, but local businesses and professionals alike. Every purchase will not only spark your child’s imagination but also help support the work of YMCA Tayside.
