Creating effective partnerships with the local church and wider community.
For each church partnership, we hire a part-time youth worker who is managed and offered support by YMCA Tayside to develop the youth work in that community. This dedicated youth worker works alongside the church to increase opportunities for young people on a weekly basis. YMCA Tayside takes responsibility for overall management and reports directly to the Minister and Management Team.

Faith Based Work
Journeying in faith together
As a Christian organisation it is important we provide opportunities for young people to explore Christianity and help them make informed choices around faith.

A Church Partnership in an up and coming new village
Bertha Park’s Lunchtime Group offers Bertha Park High School students a warm, safe space with hot chocolate and friendly conversation. Join us at lunchtimes at the Bertha Park Community Hub, where students can relax, share stories, and build meaningful connections. Our focus is on building a sense of community and creating a warm environment for students to enjoy during their lunch break.
