Excitement is continuing to build as plans for the soon to be new Y Centre begin to take shape. YMCA Tayside staff and young people are equally excited about what opportunities will be available when the new Y Centre is finally able to open its doors. Jill McGrath, YMCA Tayside CEO says, “Work on the new Y Centre is making substantial progress and we are delighted to have two interior designers on the team who are working with ourselves and the young people who use our facilities. Working with our interior designers, we are looking to enhance the space and add some flare that will make this an incredible space for young people.” Layla Riddoch from Youth Voice, a dedicated team of individuals who are passionate about representing the voices of young people says, “I feel like our ideas and input are being taken into consideration a lot; they obviously want us to be involved.” We look forward to continuing to include you in this journey and cannot wait to see how the Y Centre will take shape with the help and input of young people.
