Phoenix Youth

Empowering young people within their local community.

Phoenix Youth Project is delivered in partnership with Kinnoull Parish Church. We deliver various youth groups and weekly activities to support young people aged 10-18 years. We also offer lots of volunteer and youth leader opportunities.

 Phoenix Juniors

Our high energy youth club for P6-S1’s.

Our creative workshops are a fun and friendly way to make new friends alongside developing our creative writing skills and confidence.  Our themes include character creation, discursive, persuasive, imaginative, high fantasy and reflective writing.

 Phoenix Teens

Our weekly teen drop-in for food, fun and fellowship.

Teen drop-in runs every Tuesday, after school from 4.30-6pm and is open to ages 13+. The atmosphere is relaxed at drop in, with time to cook, catch up with friends, finish homework, play board games, music or digital gaming. We always end with a fellowship meal together.

 Youth Services

Our monthly inter-generational events.

One Sunday evening per month our youth committees host a Youth Service. This is an informal service, open to all members of the community. Within the event we have fellowship together and listen to an inspiring presentation. There is then time for questions and discussions afterwards.

 Wider YMCA Opportunities

Local, National & International experiences.

Every year we aim to offer our young people the opportunity to experience some unique opportunities at a local, national and global scale. We host an annual event to Alton Towers every spring, organise outdoor residentials in summer and occasionally go international and attend European summer camps and conferences.
